Lawyers Recognized as Super Lawyers

Three lawyers have been recognized for their accomplishments as West Virginia Super Lawyers.
Partners D. C. Offutt, Jr., Steven K. Nord and Stephen S. Burchett were among the less than five percent of West Virginia lawyers selected for this honor by their peers. Offutt and Burchett were two of only five lawyers recognized statewide for their success in the defense of physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice litigation. Nord was one of only nine lawyers recognized statewide for his success in general civil litigation. Over 4000 lawyers in West Virginia were asked to participate in the selection process.
The 21 lawyer firm represents clients throughout West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky and Southeastern Ohio in all types of litigation involving healthcare, transportation, coal mining, timbering, manufacturing, insurance, financial, banking and employment issues. The firm has offices in Huntington and Charleston.
